Was both a real challenge and huge pleasure to work on these! We developed the look of the alien (insectoid) vessels over the course of some time - here you only see one of them, the smallest. The other ones will be on the next two covers and probably other promotional artwork - you'll just have to be patient a bit longer ;) Very happy with the end result and looking forward to release the rest of the awesome stuff the two of us created!

The earliest 3d Sketches for the aliens. Tried to block out the main shapes and possible directions. Many more were done, but we picked the one on the left as a starting point, which would evolve into the alien cruiser (wait for the next cover ;) )
